1981 to 1983: Gained experience as a Certified Public Accountant in
New York, working for Coopers & Lybrand [a predecessor to
PriceWaterhouseCoopers], an international public accounting firm.  

1983 to 1991: Until 1991 when I entered law school, I gained
substantial business and financial experience working as a

Auditor
for Raytheon Company and Gould Electronics,Financial
Manager
for a $100 million dollar government program at Navcom
Systems Division, a division of Gould Electronics, and as the
Corporate Accounting Manager for Leach Corporation, a
manufacturer of aerospace parts.  

2004:
Adjunct Professor, San Francisco State University, School of
Engineering, Graduate Program, where I developed and taught
Engineering Management, a comprehensive course that includes
instruction in such topics as: management forms and techniques,
accounting, financial statement analysis, legal topics relevant to the
engineering profession and businesses generally, program/project
management, dispute resolution, team building and employee
motivation.
